שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם (Shabbat Shalom!)

Today was the first part of the big conference! Tomorrows conference will be on "intercession" and will be run by two Messianic Jews from Baruch HaShem in Texas. There will be 33 in attendance at the conference from Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Austria, and USA.

To prepare, we made beds, moved furniture and cooked for Shabbat.

We celebrated שַׁבָּת (Shabbat: the Jewish equivalent of "Lord's Day") to welcome in the Sabbath (Saturday for Jews but Sunday for Christians). Then we had a great dinner with turkey, mashed potatoes, veggies, and carrot cake.

We prayed over Fr. Peter because he is going to Spain tomorrow for a very critical meeting with the Archbishop.

I got to do praise and worship with some of my new Polish friends - they loved American worship music so although it was not easy to communicate, the Spirit brought us together in prayer!

And now for todays entertainment: Pollocks singing in Hebrew! :)
