שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם (Shabbat Shalom!)

Today was the first part of the big conference! Tomorrows conference will be on "intercession" and will be run by two Messianic Jews from Baruch HaShem in Texas. There will be 33 in attendance at the conference from Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Austria, and USA.

To prepare, we made beds, moved furniture and cooked for Shabbat.

We celebrated שַׁבָּת (Shabbat: the Jewish equivalent of "Lord's Day") to welcome in the Sabbath (Saturday for Jews but Sunday for Christians). Then we had a great dinner with turkey, mashed potatoes, veggies, and carrot cake.

We prayed over Fr. Peter because he is going to Spain tomorrow for a very critical meeting with the Archbishop.

I got to do praise and worship with some of my new Polish friends - they loved American worship music so although it was not easy to communicate, the Spirit brought us together in prayer!

And now for todays entertainment: Pollocks singing in Hebrew! :)

A Day in Vienna

We had Mass early this morning followed by breakfast and some cleaning and preparation for this weekends meeting here at the house. Then Sister and I took a train to Vienna.
In the afternoon we attended graduation at "Kirchliche Padagogische Hochschule."
The night was perfected by a beautiful home cooked dinner by candlelight (venison wrapped in bacon).
Then it was a quick tour of the 1st District of Vienna and a quick stop at the Acts of the Apostles 2010 Conference at St. Stephens Cathedral with Cardinal Schonborn.

Herr Jesus Christus, du bietest uns diene Freundschaft an. Amen.

Arrived Safely in Vienna!

I left at 12PM on Tuesday, flew to Newark, connected to Munich, and finally arrived in Vienna at 11AM (here) on Wednesday!

Sister and I are so happy to finally be together again and I'm already sad that I have to leave :) I haven't slept in about 16 hours now, but Sister is helping me to stay awake so that I get over the jet lag quicker. We prepared dinner (Turkey and Zucchini Strudel and Apple Strudel) before taking a walk around Hainburg. We sat outside of a little Cafe and drank cappuccinos. Then we came back and she showed me the rest of the house. We are going to be picking up Fr. Peter who is coming back from Israel in a little while and then we will eat and it will be bed for this tired traveler.

Anyway, I'm leaving in the morning. I'm so excited I think I might explode. I will not be getting too much sleep tonight because I'm just too excited, but that's okay because I'll have three flights to sleep on tomorrow.
